Kotka Maritime Festival is one of the largest and longest-running maritime summer events in Finland. Founded in 1962, the festival combines maritime culture, harbour events, concerts, markets and family-friendly activities. The event takes place on 22–25 July 2026 in Kotka’s Kantasatama and across the city.

Maritime History Days 2026 is an international travelling conference held over three days in Turku, Helsinki and Tallinn. The event brings together researchers, professionals and others interested in maritime history, maritime culture and sea-related themes.

The conference focuses on travelling by sea across different periods and regions. Topics include passenger traffic, trade, migration, maritime cultural connections and the wider societal impacts of sea travel. The aim is to promote interdisciplinary discussion and networking among participants working with maritime themes. The event is organised by maritime history organisations in Finland and Estonia together with Forum Marinum.
