A bartender is the supervisor of a restaurant’s alcohol bar. The bartender specializes in preparing and serving various mixed drinks at the bar. The work is usually carried out behind the bar counter.
Education
A university of applied sciences degree in tourism and hospitality, or a vocational qualification in the hotel and restaurant sector, followed by an advanced bartender programme. The advanced programme prepares for completing a specialist vocational qualification as a bartender.
