Ship Electrician
A ship electrician services and maintains the vessel’s electrical power generation system and related electrical equipment. He or she is also expected to participate in tasks on both the deck and engine sides.
Education
Ship electricians graduate from a three-year electrical operations training programme at Rauma Vocational College. In Swedish, the field can be studied at Ålands sjömansskola in Mariehamn.
