The Maritime Association organizes annual lunch meetings, which include high-level presentations and discussions on current topics. Study visits or excursions to interesting maritime destinations are organized a few times a year.

The Maritime Association has also organised large ship model exhibitions. The exhibition held in the Jugendsal in Helsinki in 2002 was visited by over 23,500 people. The most recent exhibition presenting the importance of ro-ro vessels in Finnish shipping at the SeaTec 10 trade fair at the Helsinki Exhibition and Convention Centre in April 2010 was a great success.
